59685fdfac media: venus: vdec: ensure venus is powered on during stream off
Video decoder driver auto-suspends the hardware if there is no
exchange of command or response for certain amount of time.
In auto suspended state, it becomes mandatory to power on the
hardware before requesting it to process a command. The fix
ensures the hardware is powered on during stop streaming.

73664f107c media: venus: do not queue internal buffers from previous sequence
During reconfig (DRC) event from firmware, it is not guaranteed that
all the DPB(internal) buffers would be released by the firmware. Some
buffers might be released gradually while processing frames from the
new sequence. These buffers now stay idle in the dpblist.
In subsequent call to queue the DPBs to firmware, these idle buffers
should not be queued. The fix identifies those buffers and free them.

86594f6af8 media: venus: hfi: avoid null dereference in deinit
If venus_probe fails at pm_runtime_put_sync the error handling first
calls hfi_destroy and afterwards hfi_core_deinit. As hfi_destroy sets
core->ops to NULL, hfi_core_deinit cannot call the core_deinit function
anymore.

Avoid this null pointer derefence by skipping the call when necessary.

9958d30f38 media: Kconfig: cleanup VIDEO_DEV dependencies
media Kconfig has two entries associated to V4L API:
VIDEO_DEV and VIDEO_V4L2.

On Kernel 2.6.x, there were two V4L APIs, each one with its own flag.
VIDEO_DEV were meant to:
	1) enable Video4Linux and make its Kconfig options to appear;
	2) it makes the Kernel build the V4L core.

while VIDEO_V4L2 where used to distinguish between drivers that
implement the newer API and drivers that implemented the former one.

With time, such meaning changed, specially after the removal of
all V4L version 1 drivers.

At the current implementation, VIDEO_DEV only does (1): it enables
the media options related to V4L, that now has:

	menu "Video4Linux options"
		visible if VIDEO_DEV

	source "drivers/media/v4l2-core/Kconfig"
	endmenu

but it doesn't affect anymore the V4L core drivers.

The rationale is that the V4L2 core has a "soft" dependency
at the I2C bus, and now requires to select a number of other
Kconfig options:

	config VIDEO_V4L2
		tristate
		depends on (I2C || I2C=n) && VIDEO_DEV
		select RATIONAL
		select VIDEOBUF2_V4L2 if VIDEOBUF2_CORE
		default (I2C || I2C=n) && VIDEO_DEV

In the past, merging them would be tricky, but it seems that it is now
possible to merge those symbols, in order to simplify V4L dependencies.

Let's keep VIDEO_DEV, as this one is used on some make *defconfig
configurations.

61b3317dd4 media: venus: venc: Fix h264 8x8 transform control
During encoder driver open controls are initialized via a call
to v4l2_ctrl_handler_setup which returns EINVAL error for
V4L2_CID_MPEG_VIDEO_H264_8X8_TRANSFORM v4l2 control. The control
default value is disabled and because of firmware limitations
8x8 transform cannot be disabled for the supported HIGH and
CONSTRAINED_HIGH profiles.

To fix the issue change the control default value to enabled
(this is fine because the firmware enables 8x8 transform for
high and constrained_high profiles by default). Also, correct
the checking of profile ids in s_ctrl from hfi to v4l2 ids.

91f2b7d269 media: venus: avoid calling core_clk_setrate() concurrently during concurrent video sessions
In existing implementation, core_clk_setrate() is getting called
concurrently in concurrent video sessions. Before the previous call to
core_clk_setrate returns, new call to core_clk_setrate is invoked from
another video session running concurrently. This results in latest
calculated frequency being set (higher/lower) instead of actual frequency
required for that video session. It also results in stability crashes
mention below. These resources are specific to video core, hence keeping
under core lock would ensure that they are estimated for all running video
sessions and called once for the video core.

40d87aafee media: venus: vdec: decoded picture buffer handling during reconfig sequence
In existing implementation, driver is freeing and un-mapping all the
decoded picture buffers(DPB) as part of dynamic resolution change(DRC)
handling. As a result, when firmware try to access the DPB buffer, from

already unmapped.

With this change, driver defines ownership of each DPB buffer. If a buffer
is owned by firmware, driver would skip from un-mapping the same.

8c404ebae5 media: venus: vdec: update output buffer size during vdec_s_fmt()
Video driver maintains an internal context for the output buffer size.
During S_fmt() on capture plane, the output buffer size is not updated
in driver context. As a result, during buf_prepare(), the size of the
vb2_plane and internal size of the buffer, as maintained by the driver,
does not match. This leads to buf_prepare() failure.

799926a123 media: venus: helper: change log level for false warning message
In current video driver implementation in calculate_inst_freq()
frequency is calculated based on filled_len. The filled_len may
vary frame to frame, because of this in load_scale_v4() since
frequency is calculated for all instances, driver is throwing
false warning like "HW is overloaded".

Hence to handle this, changed log level to low log message. Since the
actual session rejection is happening in decide_core() based on

6f2f49ae4c media: venus: hfi_msgs.h: Replace one-element arrays with flexible-array members
There is a regular need in the kernel to provide a way to declare having
a dynamically sized set of trailing elements in a structure. Kernel code
