6dcba0975d drm/amdgpu: use GEM references instead of TTMs v2
Instead of a TTM reference grab a GEM reference whenever necessary.

v2: fix typo in amdgpu_bo_unref pointed out by Vitaly,

6c0a7c3c69 drm/amdgpu: always allocate cleared VRAM for GEM allocations
This adds allocation latency, but aligns better with user
expectations. The latency should improve with the drm buddy
clearing patches that Arun has been working on.

In addition this fixes the high CPU spikes seen when doing
wipe on release.

v2: always set AMDGPU_GEM_CREATE_VRAM_CLEARED (Christian)

Merge v6.10-rc6 into drm-next

The exynos-next pull is based on a newer -rc than drm-next. hence
backmerge first to make sure the unrelated conflicts we accumulated
don't end up randomly in the exynos merge pull, but are separated out.

Conflicts are all benign: Adjacent changes in amdgpu and fbdev-dma
code, and cherry-pick conflict in xe.

b8f67b9ddf drm/amdgpu: change vm->task_info handling
This patch changes the handling and lifecycle of vm->task_info object.
The major changes are:
- vm->task_info is a dynamically allocated ptr now, and its uasge is
  reference counted.
- introducing two new helper funcs for task_info lifecycle management
    - amdgpu_vm_get_task_info: reference counts up task_info before
      returning this info
    - amdgpu_vm_put_task_info: reference counts down task_info
- last put to task_info() frees task_info from the vm.

This patch also does logistical changes required for existing usage
of vm->task_info.

V2: Do not block all the prints when task_info not found (Felix)

V3: Fixed review comments from Felix
   - Fix wrong indentation
   - No debug message for -ENOMEM
   - Add NULL check for task_info
   - Do not duplicate the debug messages (ti vs no ti)
   - Get first reference of task_info in vm_init(), put last
     in vm_fini()

V4: Fixed review comments from Felix
   - fix double reference increment in create_task_info
   - change amdgpu_vm_get_task_info_pasid
   - additional changes in amdgpu_gem.c while porting

50661eb1a2 drm/amdgpu: Auto-validate DMABuf imports in compute VMs
DMABuf imports in compute VMs are not wrapped in a kgd_mem object on the
process_info->kfd_bo_list. There is no explicit KFD API call to validate
them or add eviction fences to them.

This patch automatically validates and fences dymanic DMABuf imports when
they are added to a compute VM. Revalidation after evictions is handled
in the VM code.

v2:
* Renamed amdgpu_vm_validate_evicted_bos to amdgpu_vm_validate
* Eliminated evicted_user state, use evicted state for VM BOs and user BOs
* Fixed and simplified amdgpu_vm_fence_imports, depends on reserved BOs
* Moved dma_resv_reserve_fences for amdgpu_vm_fence_imports into
  amdgpu_vm_validate, outside the vm->status_lock
* Added dummy version of amdgpu_amdkfd_bo_validate_and_fence for builds
  without KFD

v4: Eliminate amdgpu_vm_fence_imports. It's not needed because the
reservation with its fences is shared with the export, as long as all
imports are from KFD, with the exports already reserved, validated and
fenced by the KFD restore worker.

v5: Reintroduced separate evicted_user state to simplify the state machine
and CS error handling when amdgpu_vm_validate is called without a ticket.

More detailed and historically accurate description of various handover
implementation kindly provided by Emil Velikov:

"""
The traditional model, the server was the orchestrator managing the
primary device node. From the fd, to the master status and
authentication. But looking at the fd alone, this has varied across
the years.

IIRC in the DRI1 days, Xorg (libdrm really) would have a list of open
fd(s) and reuse those whenever needed, DRI2 the client was responsible
for open() themselves and with DRI3 the fd was passed to the client.

Around the inception of DRI3 and systemd-logind, the latter became
another possible orchestrator. Whereby Xorg and Wayland compositors
could ask it for the fd. For various reasons (hysterical and genuine
ones) Xorg has a fallback path going the open(), whereas Wayland
compositors are moving to solely relying on logind... some never had
fallback even.

Over the past few years, more projects have emerged which provide
functionality similar (be that on API level, Dbus, or otherwise) to
systemd-logind.

4772222066 drm/amdgpu: revert "generally allow over-commit during BO allocation"
This reverts commit f9d00a4a8d.

This causes problem for KFD because when we overcommit we accidentially
bind the BO to GTT for moving it into VRAM. We also need to make sure
that this is done only as fallback after trying to evict first.

f9d00a4a8d drm/amdgpu: generally allow over-commit during BO allocation
We already fallback to a dummy BO with no backing store when we
allocate GDS,GWS and OA resources and to GTT when we allocate VRAM.

Drop all those workarounds and generalize this for GTT as well. This
fixes ENOMEM issues with runaway applications which try to allocate/free
GTT in a loop and are otherwise only limited by the CPU speed.

The CS will wait for the cleanup of freed up BOs to satisfy the
various domain specific limits and so effectively throttle those
buggy applications down to a sane allocation behavior again.

7bc80a5462 dma-buf: add enum dma_resv_usage v4
This change adds the dma_resv_usage enum and allows us to specify why a

e56694f718 drm/amdgpu: rename amdgpu_vm_bo_rmv to _del
Some people complained about the name and this matches much
more Linux naming conventions for object functions.

fbcdbfde87 drm/amdgpu: Don't inherit GEM object VMAs in child process
When an application having open file access to a node forks, its shared
mappings also get reflected in the address space of child process even
though it cannot access them with the object permissions applied. With the
existing permission checks on the gem objects, it might be reasonable to
also create the VMAs with VM_DONTCOPY flag so a user space application
doesn't need to explicitly call the madvise(addr, len, MADV_DONTFORK)
system call to prevent the pages in the mapped range to appear in the
address space of the child process. It also prevents the memory leaks
due to additional reference counts on the mapped BOs in the child
process that prevented freeing the memory in the parent for which we had
worked around earlier in the user space inside the thunk library.

Additionally, we faced this issue when using CRIU to checkpoint restore
an application that had such inherited mappings in the child which
confuse CRIU when it mmaps on restore. Having this flag set for the
render node VMAs helps. VMAs mapped via KFD already take care of this so
this is needed only for the render nodes.

To limit the impact of the change to user space consumers such as OpenGL
etc, limit it to KFD BOs only.
