With this, for multiple monitors in sync(e.g. with the same model),
mclk switching will be allowed. That helps saving some idle power on
some ASICs(e.g. Polaris).

This allows us to set different defaults on a per asic basis. This
way we can enable noretry on dGPUs where it can increase performance
in certain cases and disable it on chips where it can be problematic.
For now the default is 0 for all asics, but we may want to try and
enable it again for newer dGPUs.

GEM object functions deprecate several similar callback interfaces in
struct drm_driver. This patch replaces the per-driver callbacks with
per-instance callbacks in amdgpu. The only exception is gem_prime_mmap,
which is non-trivial to convert.

Convert to using devm_drm_dev_alloc(),
as drm_dev_init() is going away.

a) devres doesn't do refcounting, see

b) devres acts as garbage collector when
the DRM device's parent's devres "action" callback

Due to hardware bugs, scatter/gather display on raven requires
a 1:1 IOMMU mapping, however, SME (System Memory Encryption)
requires an indirect IOMMU mapping because the encryption bit
is beyond the DMA mask of the chip. As such, the two are
incompatible.

Cache the PCI state on boot and before each case where we might
loose it.

We still have a few iommu issues which need to address, so force raven
as "dgpu" path for the moment.
This is to add the fallback path to bypass IOMMU if IOMMU v2 is disabled
or ACPI CRAT table not correct.
v2: Use ignore_crat parameter to decide whether it will go with IOMMUv2.
v3: Align with existed thunk, don't change the way of raven, only renoir
will use "dgpu" path by default.
v4: don't update global ignore_crat in the driver, and revise fallback
function if CRAT is broken.
v5: refine acpi crat good but no iommu support case, and rename the
title.
v6: fix the issue of dGPU initialized firstly, just modify the report
value in the node_show().

Allows UMD to know if TMZ is supported and enabled.
This commit also bumps KMS_DRIVER_MINOR because if we don't
UMD can't tell if "ids_flags & AMDGPU_IDS_FLAGS_TMZ == 0" means
"tmz is not enabled" or "tmz may be enabled but the kernel doesn't
report it".

If multiple process share system memory through /dev/shm, KFD allocate
memory should not fail if it reaches the system memory limit because
one copy of physical system memory are shared by multiple process.
Add module parameter no_system_mem_limit to provide user option to
disable system memory limit check at runtime using sysfs or during
driver module init using kernel boot argument. By default the system
memory limit is on.
Print out debug message to warn user if KFD allocate memory failed
because system memory reaches limit.

bad_page_threshold could be configured to enable/disable the
associated bad page retirement feature in RAS.
When it's -1, ras will use typical bad page failure value to
handle bad page retirement.
When it's 0, disable bad page retirement, and no bad page
will be recorded and saved.
For other valid value, driver will use this manual value
as the threshold value of totoal bad pages.

For passthrough device, we do baco reset after 1st vm boot so
if we disable SMU on 1st VM shutdown baco reset will fail for

in amdgpu_drm_ioctl the call to pm_runtime_get_sync increments the
counter even in case of failure, leading to incorrect
ref count. In case of failure, decrement the ref count before returning.

Use WARN to print messages with backtrace when evictions are triggered.
This can help determine the root cause of evictions and help spot driver
bugs triggering evictions unintentionally, or help with performance tuning
by avoiding conditions that cause evictions in a specific workload.
The messages are controlled by a new module parameter that can be changed
at runtime:

if guest driver failed to enter full GPU access, amdgpu_driver_load_kms
will unload kms and free dev->dev_private, drm_dev_register would access
null pointer. Driver will enter an error state and can't be unloaded.

We should be checking whether the driver enabled runtime pm
rather than whether the asic supports BOCO or BACO. That said
in general they are equivalent unless the user has disabled
runpm or it has been disabled for a specific asic.

Rather than only enabling GWS support based on the hws_gws_support
modparm, also check whether the GPU's HWS firmware supports GWS.
Leave the old modparm in place in case users want to test GWS
on GPUs not yet in the support list.

This patch adds tmz parameter to enable/disable
the feature in the amdgpu kernel module. Nomally,
by default, it should be auto (rely on the
hardware capability).
But right now, it need to set "off" to avoid
breaking other developers' work because it's not
totally completed.
Will set "auto" till the feature is stable and
completely verified.
