7adbccbbb5 ixgbe: Disable flow control for XFI
Flow control autonegotiation is not supported for XFI. Make sure that
ixgbe_device_supports_autoneg_fc() returns false and
hw->fc.disable_fc_autoneg is set to true to avoid running the fc_autoneg
function for that device.

08ed48e182 ixgbe: always call setup_mac_link for multispeed fiber
Remove the logic which would previously skip the link configuration

By exiting early we are skipping the link configuration and as such

1a8b6d76dc net:add one common config ARCH_WANT_RELAX_ORDER to support relax ordering
Relax ordering(RO) is one feature of 82599 NIC, to enable this feature can
enhance the performance for some cpu architecure, such as SPARC and so on.
Currently it only supports one special cpu architecture(SPARC) in 82599
driver to enable RO feature, this is not very common for other cpu architecture
which really needs RO feature.
This patch add one common config CONFIG_ARCH_WANT_RELAX_ORDER to set RO feature,
and should define CONFIG_ARCH_WANT_RELAX_ORDER in sparc Kconfig firstly.

3efa9ed260 ixgbe: Fix issues with EEPROM access
There are two problems with EEPROM access. One is that it needs to
hold the semaphore until the entire response is read or else the
response can be corrupted by other firmware accesses. The second
problem is that acquiring and releasing the semaphore is slow, so
it should be taken and released once when multiple EEPROM accesses
will be done.

Both of these issues can be solved by adding a new function,
ixgbe_hic_unlocked, to issue firmware commands that will assume
that the caller has acquired the needed semaphore.

b4f47a4830 ixgbe: use BIT() macro
Several areas of ixgbe were written before widespread usage of the
BIT(n) macro. With the impending release of GCC 6 and its associated new
warnings, some usages such as (1 << 31) have been noted within the ixgbe
driver source. Fix these wholesale and prevent future issues by simply
using BIT macro instead of hand coded bit shifts.

Also fix a few shifts that are shifting values into place by using the
'u' prefix to indicate unsigned. It doesn't strictly matter in these
cases because we're not shifting by too large a value, but these are all
unsigned values and should be indicated as such.

c2bc9ce91c ixgbe: Reorder search to work from the top down instead of bottom up
This patch is meant to reduce the complexity of the search function used

5ac736a65a ixgbe: Simplify configuration of setting VLVF and VLVFB
This patch addresses several issues within the VLVF and VLVFB
configuration

First was the fact that code was overly complicated with multiple
conditional paths depending on if we adding or removing and which bit we
were going to add or remove. Instead of messing with all that I have
simplified it by using (vid / 32) and (1 - vid / 32) to identify our
register and the other vlvfb register.

Second was the fact that we were likely leaking a few packets into the PF
in cases where we were deleting an entry and the VFTA filter for that entry
as the ordering was such that we deleted the pool and then the VLAN filter
instead of the other way around. I have updated that by adding a check for
no bits being set and if that occurs we clear things up in the proper
order.

a u32. When the ixgbe_hw struct is initialized, a pointer to the
appropriate array must be set.

887012e80a ixgbe: enable relaxed ordering for SPARC
This patch makes sure that relaxed ordering is not disabled when
on SPARC, where it helps with performance.

1f9ac57cad ixgbe: add new wrapper for X550 support
For the X550 mac type we have to do additional steps around
enabling/disabling Rx. This patch will add a layer of indirection
around these support functions to enable this.

6a14ee0cfb ixgbe: Add X550 support function pointers
This patch extends the function pointer structure to include the new
X550 class MAC types. This creates a new file ixgbe_x550.c that contains
all of the new methods. Because of similarities to the X540 part in
some cases we just use it's methods where they can be used without any
modification. These exported functions are now defined in the new
ixgbe_x540.h file.

735c35afed ixgbe: cleanup checksum to allow error results
Currently the shared code checksum calculation function only
returns a u16 and cannot return an error code. Unfortunately
a variety of errors can happen that completely prevent the
calculation of a checksum. So, change the function return value
from a u16 to an s32 and return a negative value on error, or the
positive checksum value when there is no error.

030eaece2d ixgbe: Add x550 SW/FW semaphore support
The X550 hardware will use more bits in the mask, so change
the prototypes to match. This larger mask will require changes
in callers which use the higher bits. Likewise since X550 will
use different semaphore mask values and will use the lan_id
value. So save these values in the ixgbe_phy_info struct.

b48e4aa3e5 ixgbe: Add timeout parameter to ixgbe_host_interface_command
Since on X550 we use host interface commands to read, write and erase
some commands require more time to complete. So this adds a timeout
parameter to ixgbe_host_interface_command as wells as a return_data
parameter allowing us to return with any data.
