3d35ddfb07 drm/display/dp_mst: drop has_audio from struct drm_dp_mst_port
Caching the has_audio in struct drm_dp_mst_port seems odd, and oddly
placed. Defer audio handling to drivers, and use the info from the

d7c281eece drm/i915/debugfs: New debugfs for display clock frequencies
Instead of mixing display & non-display stuff together, move
display specific clock info to new debugfs. This patch will
create a new debugfs "i915_cdclk_info" to expose Current & Max

Example:
$ cat /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/i915_cdclk_info
Current CD clock frequency: 163200 kHz
Max CD clock frequency: 652800 kHz
Max pixel clock frequency: 1305600 kHz

d4d17377e0 drm/i915/dsc: Add debugfs entry to validate DSC output formats
DSC_Output_Format_Sink_Support entry is added to i915_dsc_fec_support_show
to depict if sink supports DSC output formats (RGB/YCbCr420/YCbCr444).
Also, new debugfs entry is created to enforce output format. This is
required because of our driver policy. For ex. if a mode is supported
in both RGB and YCbCr420 output formats by the sink, our policy is to
try RGB first and fall back to YCbCr420, if mode cannot be shown
using RGB. So, to test other output formats like YCbCr420 or YCbCr444,
we need a debugfs entry (force_dsc_output_format) to force this
output format.

v2: -Func name changed to intel_output_format_name() (Jani N)
    -Return forced o/p format from intel_dp_output_format() (Jani N)

cf6c422bf5 drm/i915/debugfs: add crtc i915_pipe debugfs file
The pipe may differ from crtc index if pipes are fused off. For testing
purposes, IGT needs to know the pipe.

There's already a I915_GET_PIPE_FROM_CRTC_ID IOCTL for this. However,
the upcoming Xe driver won't have that IOCTL, and going forward, we'll
want a unified interface for testing i915 and Xe, as they share the
display code. Thus add the debugfs for i915 display.

has already been split out to skl_watermark.[ch].

Use the _wm.[ch] naming for brevity; we may want to rename
skl_watermark.[ch] later accordingly.

Add new intel_wm_init() to call either skl_wm_init() or
i9xx_wm_init(i915) depending on the platform, the latter comprising of
the remains of intel_init_pm().

7ee6f99dbc drm/i915: Replace wm.max_levels with wm.num_levels and use it everywhere
Replaces wm.max_level with wm.num_levels, since that generally
results in nicer looking code (for-loops can be in standard
form etc.).

Also get rid of the two different wrappers we have for this
(ilk_wm_max_level() and intel_wm_num_levels()). They don't
really do anything for us other than potentially slow things
down if the compiler actually emits the function calls every
time (num_planes*num_wm_levels*higher_level_wm_function_calls
could be a big number). The watermark code already shows up
far too prominently in cpu profiles. Though I must admit that
I didn't look at the generated code this time.

801543b259 drm/i915: stop including i915_irq.h from i915_trace.h
Turns out many of the files that need i915_reg.h get it implicitly via
{display/intel_de.h, gt/intel_context.h} -> i915_trace.h -> i915_irq.h
-> i915_reg.h. Since i915_trace.h doesn't actually need i915_irq.h,
makes sense to drop it, but that requires adding quite a few new
includes all over the place.

Prefer including i915_reg.h where needed instead of adding another
implicit include, because eventually we'll want to split up i915_reg.h
and only include the specific registers at each place.

Also some places actually needed i915_irq.h too.

It's a bit arbitrary when to define a named struct for grouping, but
clearly intel_wm is big enough to warrant a separate definition.

It is very useful for verifying whether we enter the correct

7d4561722c drm/i915: Tweak plane ddb allocation tracking
Let's store the plane allocation in a manner which more closely
matches how the hw operates. That is, we store the packed/CbCr
ddb in one struct, and the Y ddb in another. Currently we're
storing packed/Y in one struct, CbCr in the other.

This also works pretty well for icl+ where the UV plane is
the main plane and the Y plane is subservient to it. Although
in this case we do not even use ddb_y as we do the ddb allocation
in terms of hw planes.
