A fairly standard release for SPI with the exception of a change to the
API for specifying chip selects done in preparation for supporting
devices with more than one chip select, this required some mechanical
changes throughout the tree which have been cooking in -next happily for
a while. There's also a new API to allow us to TPM chips on half duplex
controllers.
There's three commits in here that were mangled by a bad interaction
between the alsa-devel mailing list software and b4, I didn't notice
until there were merges on top with it being SPI not ALSA. It seemed
clear enough to not be worth going back and fixing.
- Refactoring in preparation for supporting multiple chip selects for a
single device, needed by some flash devices, which required a change
in the SPI device API visible throughout the tree.
- Support for hardware assisted interaction with SPI TPMs on half
duplex controllers, implemented on nVidia Tedra210 QuadSPI.
- Optimisation for large transfers on fsl-cpm devices.
- Cleanups around device property use which fix some sisues with
fwnode.
- Use of both void remove() and devm_platform_.*ioremap_resource().
- Support for AMD Pensando Elba, Amlogic A1, Cadence device mode,
Intel MetorLake-S and StarFive J7110 QuadSPI.
The final commit converting to DEV_PM_OPS() was applied late to fix a
warning that was introduced by some of the earlier work.

Supporting multi-cs in spi drivers would require the chip_select & cs_gpiod
members of struct spi_device to be an array. But changing the type of these
members to array would break the spi driver functionality. To make the
transition smoother introduced four new APIs to get/set the
spi->chip_select & spi->cs_gpiod and replaced all spi->chip_select and
spi->cs_gpiod references with get or set API calls.
While adding multi-cs support in further patches the chip_select & cs_gpiod
members of the spi_device structure would be converted to arrays & the
"idx" parameter of the APIs would be used as array index i.e.,
spi->chip_select[idx] & spi->cs_gpiod[idx] respectively.

wait_for_completion_timeout() can not return a <0 value.
So simplify the logic and remove dead code.
-ERESTARTSYS can not be returned by do_wait_for_common() for tasks with
TASK_UNINTERRUPTIBLE, which is the case for wait_for_completion_timeout()

mac80211 is fully switching over to the internal TX queue (iTXQ)
implementation. Update all drivers not yet providing the now mandatory
wake_tx_queue() callback.
As an side effect the netdev interfaces of all updated drivers will
switch to the noqueue qdisc.

This really shouldn't be in a per-link config, we don't want
to let anyone control it that way (if anything, link powersave
could be forced through APIs to activate/deactivate a link),
and we don't support powersave in software with devices that
can do MLO.

Here is the big set of staging driver updates for 5.19-rc1.
Lots of forward progress happened this development cycle, one driver
(wfx wireless driver) got merged into the real portion of the kernel,
and another one (unisys) was removed as no one is around anymore to take
care of it and no one has the hardware. Combined with loads of tiny
driver cleanups overall we removed 13k lines of code from the tree, a
nice improvement.
Other than the wfx and unisys driver changes the major points of this
merge is:
- r8188eu driver cleanups. So many cleanups. It's amazing just
how many things have been cleaned up here, and yet, how many
remain to go. Lots of work happened here, and it doesn't look
to slow down any time soon.
- other wifi driver cleanups. Not as many as the r8188eu
driver, but still pretty impressive from a janitorial point of
view.
- bcm2853 driver cleanups
- other very minor driver cleanups
All of these have been in the linux-next tree for weeks with no reported
issues.
Note, you will have a merge conflict in the
drivers/net/wireless/silabs/wfx/sta.c file, please just take the change
that came in from the wifi tree. We thought as I had pulled the same
merge point from the wifi developers this type of conflict wouldn't have
happened, but for some reason git flags it as something to pay attention
to and couldn't resolve it itself.

Currently, upon virtual interface creation, wfx_add_interface() stores
a reference to the corresponding struct ieee80211_vif in private data,
for later usage. This is not needed when using the container_of
construct. This construct already has all the info it needs to retrieve
the reference to the corresponding struct from the offset that is
already available, inherent in container_of(), between its type and
member inputs (struct ieee80211_vif and drv_priv, respectively).
Remove vif (which was previously storing the reference to the struct
ieee80211_vif) from the struct wfx_vif, define a function
wvif_to_vif(wvif) for container_of(), and replace all wvif->vif with
the newly defined container_of construct.
