0bfdd6da01 drm/i915: Carve up struct intel_dpll_hw_state
struct intel_dpll_hw_state has a spot for all possible
PLL registers across all platforms (well, apart from
cx0/snps). This makes it rather confusing when trying to
figure out which members belong to which platform(s).

Split the struct up into five different platform specific
sub-structures. For now this will actually increase the size
a little bit as we have to duplicate a few members from
skl to icl, but that will be remedied soon when we turn
the thing into a union.

3420841fd6 drm/i915: Rename PLL hw_state variables/arguments
We have zero consistency in out PLL state naming scheme. Try
to unify things a bit by using 'dpll_hw_state' for high level
stuff and just 'hw_state' for low level stuff. Currently both
are the same, but I want to unionize intel_dpll_hw_state at
which point using different names can make it more clear whether
we're talking about the whole union or just the embedded platform

1ef4885931 drm/i915: Do not match JSL in ehl_combo_pll_div_frac_wa_needed()
Since commit 0c65dc0626 ("drm/i915/jsl: s/JSL/JASPERLAKE for
platform/subplatform defines"), boot freezes on a Jasper Lake tablet
(Librem 11), usually with graphical corruption on the eDP display,
but sometimes just a black screen. This commit was included in 6.6 and
later.

That commit was intended to refactor EHL and JSL macros, but the change
to ehl_combo_pll_div_frac_wa_needed() started matching JSL incorrectly
when it was only intended to match EHL.

It replaced:
	return ((IS_PLATFORM(i915, INTEL_ELKHARTLAKE) &&
		 IS_JSL_EHL_DISPLAY_STEP(i915, STEP_B0, STEP_FOREVER)) ||
with:
	return (((IS_ELKHARTLAKE(i915) || IS_JASPERLAKE(i915)) &&
		 IS_DISPLAY_STEP(i915, STEP_B0, STEP_FOREVER)) ||

Remove IS_JASPERLAKE() to fix the regression.

33c7760226 drm/i915: Suppress old PLL pipe_mask checks for MG/TC/TBT PLLs
TC ports have both the MG/TC and TBT PLLs selected simultanously (so
that we can switch from MG/TC to TBT as a fallback). This doesn't play
well with the state checker that assumes that the old PLL shouldn't
have the pipe in its pipe_mask anymore. Suppress that check for these
PLLs to avoid spurious WARNs when you disconnect a TC port and a
non-disabling modeset happens before actually disabling the port.

ba407525f8 drm/i915: Try to preserve the current shared_dpll for fastset on type-c ports
Currently icl_compute_tc_phy_dplls() assumes that the active
PLL will be the TC PLL (as opposed to the TBT PLL). The actual
PLL will be selected during the modeset enable sequence, but
we need to put *something* into the crtc_state->shared_dpll
already during compute_config().

The downside of assuming one PLL or the other is that we'll
fail to fastset if the assumption doesn't match what was in
use previously. So let's instead keep the same PLL that was
in use previously (assuming there was one). This should allow
fastset to work again when using TBT PLL, at least in the
steady state.

Now, assuming we want keep the same PLL may not be entirely
correct either. But we should be covered by the type-c link
reset handling which will force a full modeset by flagging
connectors_changed=true which means the resulting modeset
can't be converted into a fastset even if the full crtc state
looks identical.

3e7e07c4cf drm/i915: Move the DPLL extra power domain handling up one level
The extra DPLL power domain is currently handled in three places:
- combo_pll_enable()
- combo_pll_disable()
- readout_dpll_hw_state()

First two of those are low level PLL funcs, but the third is a higher
level thing. So the current situation is rather inconsistent. Unify
this by moving the PLL enable/disable up one level. This also means
the extra power domain could be trivially be used by other platforms

Note that I'm perhaps slightly abusing things here as
power_domain==0 (which is actually POWER_DOMAIN_DISPLAY_CORE) now
indicates that no extra power domain is needed. I suppose using
POWER_DOMAIN_INVALID would be more correct, but then we'd have to
sprinkle that to all the other DPLLs.

We could just pass any arbitrary (large enough) size to

potentially useful to keep around. So let's just calculate

7ff9a17e37 drm/i915: Make the CRTC state consistent during sanitize-disabling
Make sure that the CRTC state is reset correctly, as expected after
disabling the CRTC.

In particular this change will:
- Zero all the CSC blob pointers after intel_crtc_free_hw_state()
  has freed them.
- Zero the shared DPLL and port PLL pointers and clear the
  corresponding CRTC reference flag in the PLL state.
- Reset all the transcoder and pipe fields.

v2:
- Reset fully the CRTC state. (Ville)
- Clear pipe active flags in the DPLL state.

v3:
- Clear only the CRTC reference flag and add a helper for this.
  (Ville)

v4:
- Rebased on previous patch, adding
  intel_unreference_shared_dpll_crtc() separately. (Ville)

801543b259 drm/i915: stop including i915_irq.h from i915_trace.h
Turns out many of the files that need i915_reg.h get it implicitly via
{display/intel_de.h, gt/intel_context.h} -> i915_trace.h -> i915_irq.h
-> i915_reg.h. Since i915_trace.h doesn't actually need i915_irq.h,
makes sense to drop it, but that requires adding quite a few new
includes all over the place.

Prefer including i915_reg.h where needed instead of adding another
implicit include, because eventually we'll want to split up i915_reg.h
and only include the specific registers at each place.

Also some places actually needed i915_irq.h too.

b8ed55335e drm/i915/tgl+: Sanitize DKL PHY register definitions
Not all Dekel PHY registers have a lane instance, so having to specify
this when using them is awkward. It makes more sense to define each PHY
register with its full internal PHY offset where bits 15:12 is the lane
for lane-instanced PHY registers and just a register bank index for other
PHY registers. This way lane-instanced registers can be referred to with
the (tc_port, lane) parameters, while other registers just with a tc_port
parameter.

An additional benefit of this change is to prevent passing a Dekel
register to a generic MMIO access function or vice versa.

v2:
- Fix parameter	reuse in the DKL_REG_MMIO definition.
v3:
- Rebase on latest patchset version.

89cb0ba4ce drm/i915/tgl+: Add locking around DKL PHY register accesses
Accessing the TypeC DKL PHY registers during modeset-commit,
-verification, DP link-retraining and AUX power well toggling is racy
due to these code paths being concurrent and the PHY register bank
selection register (HIP_INDEX_REG) being shared between PHY instances
(aka TC ports) and the bank selection being not atomic wrt. the actual
PHY register access.

Add the required locking around each PHY register bank selection->
register access sequence.

Kudos to Ville for noticing the race conditions.

v2:
- Add the DKL PHY register accessors to intel_dkl_phy.[ch]. (Jani)
- Make the DKL_REG_TC_PORT macro independent of PHY internals.
- Move initing the DKL PHY lock to a more logical place.

v3:
- Fix parameter reuse in the DKL_REG_TC_PORT definition.
- Document the usage of phy_lock.

v4:
- Fix adding TC_PORT_1 offset in the DKL_REG_TC_PORT definition.
