The wol feature is controlled by the MMD3.8012 bit5,
need to set this bit when the wol function is enabled.
The reg18 bit0 is for enabling WOL interrupt, when wol
occurs, the wol interrupt status reg19 bit0 is set to 1.
Call phy_trigger_machine if there are any other interrupt
pending in the function set_wol.

Some Micrel KSZ8041NL PHY chips exhibit continuous RX errors after using
the power down mode bit (0.11). If the PHY is taken out of power down
mode in a certain temperature range, the PHY enters a weird state which
leads to continuously reporting RX errors. In that state, the MAC is not
able to receive or send any Ethernet frames and the activity LED is
constantly blinking. Since Linux is using the suspend callback when the
interface is taken down, ending up in that state can easily happen
during a normal startup.
Micrel confirmed the issue in errata DS80000700A [*], caused by abnormal
clock recovery when using power down mode. Even the latest revision (A4,
Revision ID 0x1513) seems to suffer that problem, and according to the
errata is not going to be fixed.
Remove the suspend/resume callback to avoid using the power down mode
completely.

The auto-negotiation state in the PCS as set by
phylink_mii_c22_pcs_config was previously always enabled when the
driver is configured for in-band autonegotiation, even if
autonegotiation was disabled on the interface with ethtool. Update the
code to set the BMCR_ANENABLE bit based on the interface's
autonegotiation enabled state.
Update phylink_mii_c22_pcs_get_state to not check
autonegotiation-related fields when autonegotiation is disabled.
Update phylink_mac_pcs_get_state to initialize the state based on the
interface's configured speed, duplex and pause parameters rather than
to unknown when autonegotiation is disabled, before calling the
driver's pcs_get_state functions, as they are not likely to provide
meaningful data for these fields when autonegotiation is disabled. In
this case the driver is really just filling in the link state field.
Note that in cases where there is a downstream PHY connected, such as
with SGMII and a copper PHY, the configuration set by ethtool is
handled by phy_ethtool_ksettings_set and not propagated to the PCS.
This is correct since SGMII or 1000Base-X autonegotiation with the PCS
should normally still be used even if the copper side has disabled it.

Commit ea269a6f72 ("net: phylink: Update SFP selected interface on
advertising changes") added a better solution to selecting the
interface mode for SFPs using the advertisement mask. This method will
work for mvneta and mvpp2 when selecting between 2500base-X and
1000base-X without needing to use the basex helper, or indicate that
we support both 1000base-X and 2500base-X when in either of these two
interface modes.
Hence, we need to eliminate the validation prior to selecting the
interface, otherwise when we clean up mvneta's validation function, we
will end up locking to 2500base-X as we validate with an interface mode
of PHY_INERFACE_MODE_2500BASEX.
The supported mask will already have been reduced down to the union of
support for the SFP and MAC already, so we can be confident that the
advertisement mask is already appropriately restricted. We only need to
select the appropriate interface, and then revalidate with the new
interface mode.
We get rid of the check for pl->sfp_port too, this is meaningless here
as it doesn't get cleared when a module is removed, so it doesn't
indicate if a module is present. Just rely on pl->sfp_bus.

The RTL8365MB-VC ethernet switch controller has 4 internal PHYs for its
user-facing ports. All that is needed is to let the PHY driver core
pick up the IRQ made available by the switch driver.

PHY driver dp83867 has rich supports for OF-platform to fine-tune the PHY
chip during phy configuration. However, for non-OF platform, certain PHY
tunable parameters such as IO impedance and RX & TX internal delays are
critical and should be initialized to its default during PHY driver probe.

It seems reasonable to fine-tune only some of the skew values when using
one of the rgmii-*id PHY modes, and even when all skew values are
specified, using the correct ID PHY mode makes sense for documentation
purposes. Such a configuration also appears in the binding docs in
Documentation/devicetree/bindings/net/micrel-ksz90x1.txt, so the driver
should not warn about it.

This big patch sprinkles const on local variables and
function arguments which may refer to netdev->dev_addr.
Commit 406f42fa0d ("net-next: When a bond have a massive amount
of VLANs...") introduced a rbtree for faster Ethernet address look
up. To maintain netdev->dev_addr in this tree we need to make all
the writes to it got through appropriate helpers.
Some of the changes here are not strictly required - const
is sometimes cast off but pointer is not used for writing.
It seems like it's still better to add the const in case
the code changes later or relevant -W flags get enabled
for the build.
No functional changes.

QCA8327 internal phy require DAC amplitude adjustement set to +6% with
100m speed. Also add additional define to report a change of the same
reg in QCA8337. (different scope it does set 1000m voltage)
Add link_change_notify function to set the proper amplitude adjustement
on PHY_RUNNING state and disable on any other state.

From Documentation phy resume triggers phy reset and restart
auto-negotiation. Add a dedicated function to wait reset to finish as
it was notice a regression where port sometime are not reliable after a
suspend/resume session. The reset wait logic is copied from phy_poll_reset.
Add dedicated suspend function to use genphy_suspend only with QCA8337
phy and set only additional debug settings for QCA8327. With more test
it was reported that QCA8327 doesn't proprely support this mode and
using this cause the unreliability of the switch ports, especially the
malfunction of the port0.

In case a PHY device was probed thus in the PHY_READY state, but not
configured and with no network device attached yet, we should not be
trying to shut it down because it has been brought back into reset by
phy_device_reset() towards the end of phy_probe() and anyway we have not
configured the PHY yet.

Micrel KSZ9131 PHY LED behavior is not correct when configured in
Individual Mode, LED1 (Activity LED) is in the ON state when there is
no-link.
Workaround this by setting bit 9 of register 0x1e after verifying that
the LED configuration is Individual Mode.
This issue is described in KSZ9131RNX Silicon Errata DS80000693B [*]
and according to that it will not be corrected in a future silicon
revision.

On the MDIO bus, we have PHYLIB devices and drivers, and we have non-
PHYLIB devices and drivers. PHYLIB devices are MDIO devices that are
wrapped with a struct phy_device.
Trying to bind a MDIO device with a PHYLIB driver results in out-of-
bounds accesses as we attempt to access struct phy_device members. So,
let's prevent this by ensuring that the type of the MDIO device
(indicated by the MDIO_DEVICE_FLAG_PHY flag) matches the type of the
MDIO driver (indicated by the MDIO_DEVICE_IS_PHY flag.)

Here are some driver core and kernfs fixes for reported issues for

- cpumask sysfs file bugfix to preserve the user/kernel abi (has

- devlink fixes for mdiobus devices as reported by the subsystem
maintainers.

easier for people to report problems when asked. They have already
helped with the mdiobus and other subsystems reporting issues.
All of these have been linux-next for a while with no reported issues.

Pull driver core fixes from Greg KH:
"Here are some driver core and kernfs fixes for reported issues for
5.15-rc4. These fixes include:
- kernfs positive dentry bugfix
- debugfs_create_file_size error path fix
- cpumask sysfs file bugfix to preserve the user/kernel abi (has been
reported multiple times.)
- devlink fixes for mdiobus devices as reported by the subsystem
maintainers.
Also included in here are some devlink debugging changes to make it
easier for people to report problems when asked. They have already
helped with the mdiobus and other subsystems reporting issues.
All of these have been linux-next for a while with no reported issues"

Syzbot reported memory leak in MDIO bus interface, the problem was in
wrong state logic.
MDIOBUS_ALLOCATED indicates 2 states:
1. Bus is only allocated
2. Bus allocated and __mdiobus_register() fails, but
device_register() was called
In case of device_register() has been called we should call put_device()
to correctly free the memory allocated for this device, but mdiobus_free()
calls just kfree(dev) in case of MDIOBUS_ALLOCATED state
To avoid this behaviour we need to set bus->state to MDIOBUS_UNREGISTERED
_before_ calling device_register(), because put_device() should be
called even in case of device_register() failure.

This patch is correct in the sense that we _should_ call device_put() in
case of device_register() failure, but the problem in this code is more
vast.
We need to set bus->state to UNMDIOBUS_REGISTERED before calling
device_register() to correctly release the device in mdiobus_free().
This patch prevents us from doing it, since in case of device_register()
failure put_device() will be called 2 times and it will cause UAF or
something else.
Also, Reported-by: tag in revered commit was wrong, since syzbot
reported different leak in same function.

When EEE support was added to the 28nm EPHY it was assumed that it would
be able to support the standard clause 45 over clause 22 register access
method. It turns out that the PHY does not support that, which is the
very reason for using the indirect shadow mode 2 bank 3 access method.
Implement {read,write}_mmd to allow the standard PHY library routines
pertaining to EEE querying and configuration to work correctly on these
PHYs. This forces us to implement a __phy_set_clr_bits() function that
does not grab the MDIO bus lock since the PHY driver's {read,write}_mmd
functions are always called with that lock held.

The LAN8804 PHY has same features as that of LAN8814 PHY except that it
doesn't support 1588, SyncE or Q-USGMII.
This PHY is found inside the LAN966X switches.

GPY115 need reset PHY when it comes out from loopback mode if the firmware
version number (lower 8 bits) is equal to or below 0x76.

There are many instances of PHYs that depend on a switch to supply a
resource (Eg: interrupts). Switches also expects the PHYs to be probed
by their specific drivers as soon as they are added. If that doesn't
happen, then the switch would force the use of generic PHY drivers for
the PHY even if the PHY might have specific driver available.
fw_devlink=on by design can cause delayed probes of PHY. To avoid, this
we need to set the FWNODE_FLAG_NEEDS_CHILD_BOUND_ON_ADD for the switch's
fwnode before the PHYs are added. The most generic way to do this is to
set this flag for the parent of MDIO busses which is typically the
switch.

Since we enable APD and DLL/RXC/TXC disable we need to use
bcm54xx_suspend() in order not to do a read/modify/write of the BMCR
register which is incompatible with the desired settings.

These two Ethernet PHYs support IDDQ-SR therefore wire-up the suspend
and resume callbacks to point to bcm54xx_suspend() and bcm54xx_resume().
