drm_crtc.h has no need for drm_edid.h, so don't include it.
Avoids useless rebuilds of the entire universe when
touching drm_edid.h.
Quite a few placs do currently depend on drm_edid.h without
actually including it directly. All of those need to be fixed
up.

We're moving all uses of ddc_bus to drm_connector where they belong.
The initialization of the gma_i2c_chan for Oaktrail is a bit backwards
so it required improvements. Also cleanup the error handling in
oaktrail_lvds_init(). Since this is the last user of
gma_encoder->ddc_bus we can remove it.

The list_for_each_entry() iterator, "connector" in this code, can never be
NULL. If we exit the loop without finding the correct connector then
"connector" points invalid memory that is an offset from the list head.
This will eventually lead to memory corruption and presumably a kernel
crash.

Currently a loop scans through the connector list checking
for connectors that do not match a specific criteria. The
use of the continue statement is a little unintuitive and
can confuse static analysis checking. Invert the criteria
matching logic and use a break to terminate the loop once
the first suitable connector has been found.
Thanks to Patrik Jakobsson for explaining the original
intent of the code and suggesting this change.

The gma500 driver uses empty implementations for some of its encoders.
Replace the code with the generic simple encoder. As a side effect, the
patch also removes an indirection in the encoder setup for Medfield.

drm/crtc-helper: remove LOCKING from kerneldoc
drm_add_edid_modes started to WARN about the mode_config.mutex not
being held in the lvds and dp initialization code.
Now since this is init code locking is fairly redudant if it wouldn't
be for the drm core registering sysfs files a bit early. And the
locking WARNINGs nicely enforce that indeed all access to the mode
lists are properly protected. And a full audit shows that only i915
and gma500 touch the modes lists at init time.
Hence I've opted to wrap up this entire mode detection sequence for
fixed panels with the mode_config mutex for both lvds and edp outputs.

Previously we always had something hooked up to LVDS so we tried very
hard to get a mode. With the Minnowboard this is no longer the case.
If no mode can be found over DDC or the firmware we just ignore LVDS.

To ensure that there are no functional changes, I have compared
the objdump of renamed files before and after rename and found
that the only difference is file name change.

The GCT setup was used on Moorestown. The Oaktrail version uses a normal PC
interface. That means we must also honour the dither info from the BIOS
data.

Oaktrail (GMA600) is found on some tablet/slate PC type systems. It's a bit
different to the GMA500 but similar enough it makes sense to plug it into
