drm_crtc.h has no need for linux/fb.h, so don't include it.
Avoids useless rebuilds of the entire universe when

Quite a few placs do currently depend on linux/fb.h or other

directly. All of those need to be fixed up.

drm/vc4: Consolidate Hardware Revision Check
A new generation of controller has been introduced with the

drm/vc4: crtc: Copy assigned channel to the CRTC
Accessing the crtc->state pointer from outside the modesetting context
is not allowed. We thus need to copy whatever we need from the KMS state
to our structure in order to access it.

In VC4, a number of users of that pointers have crept in over the years,
and the previous commits removed them all but the HVS channel a CRTC has
been assigned.

Let's move this channel in struct vc4_crtc at atomic_begin() time, drop
it from our private state structure, and remove our use of crtc->state
from our vblank handler entirely.

drm/vc4: Fix non-blocking commit getting stuck forever
In some situation, we can end up being stuck on a non-blocking that went
through properly.

The situation that seems to trigger it reliably is to first start a
non-blocking commit, and then right after, and before we had any vblank
interrupt), start a blocking commit.

This will lead to the first commit workqueue to be scheduled, setup the
display, while the second commit is waiting for the first one to be
completed.

The vblank interrupt will then be raised, vc4_crtc_handle_vblank() will
run and will compare the active dlist in the HVS channel to the one
associated with the crtc->state.

However, at that point, the second commit is waiting using
drm_atomic_helper_wait_for_dependencies that occurs after
drm_atomic_helper_swap_state has been called, so crtc->state points to
the second commit state. vc4_crtc_handle_vblank() will compare the two
dlist addresses and since they don't match will ignore the interrupt.

The vblank event will never be reported, and the first and second commit
will wait for the first commit completion until they timeout.

The underlying reason is that it was never safe to do so. Indeed,
accessing the ->state pointer access synchronization is based on
ownership guarantees that can only occur within the functions and hooks
defined as part of the KMS framework, and obviously the irq handler
isn't one of them. The rework to move to generic helpers only uncovered
the underlying issue.

However, since the code path between
drm_atomic_helper_wait_for_dependencies() and
drm_atomic_helper_wait_for_vblanks() is serialised and we can't get two
commits in that path at the same time, we can work around this issue by
setting a variable associated to struct drm_crtc to the dlist we expect,
and then using it from the vc4_crtc_handle_vblank() function.

Since that state is shared with the modesetting path, we also need to
introduce a spinlock to protect the code shared between the interrupt
handler and the modesetting path, protecting only our new variable for
now.

drm/vc4: crtc: Drop feed_txp from state
Accessing the crtc->state pointer from outside the modesetting context
is not allowed. We thus need to copy whatever we need from the KMS state
to our structure in order to access it.

In VC4, a number of users of that pointers have crept in over the years,
the first one being whether or not the downstream controller of the
pixelvalve is our writeback controller.

Fortunately for us, Since commit 39fcb28083 ("drm/vc4: txp: Turn the
TXP into a CRTC of its own") this is no longer something that can change
from one commit to the other and is hardcoded.

Let's set this flag in struct vc4_crtc if we happen to be the TXP, and
drop the flag from our private state structure.

drm/vc4: Leverage the load tracker on the BCM2711
The load tracker was initially designed to report and warn about a load
too high for the HVS. To do so, it computes for each plane the impact
it's going to have on the HVS, and will warn (if it's enabled) if we go
over what the hardware can process.

While the limits being used are a bit irrelevant to the BCM2711, the
algorithm to compute the HVS load will be one component used in order to
compute the core clock rate on the BCM2711.

Let's remove the hooks to prevent the load tracker to do its
computation, but since we don't have the same limits, don't check them
against them, and prevent the debugfs file to enable it from being
created.

drm/vc4: crtc: Rework the encoder retrieval code (again)
It turns out the encoder retrieval code, in addition to being
unnecessarily complicated, has a bug when only the planes and crtcs are
affected by a given atomic commit.

Indeed, in such a case, either drm_atomic_get_old_connector_state or
drm_atomic_get_new_connector_state will return NULL and thus our encoder
retrieval code will not match on anything.

We can however simplify the code by using drm_for_each_encoder_mask, the
drm_crtc_state storing the encoders a given CRTC is connected to
directly and without relying on any other state.

drm/vc4: kms: Don't disable the muxing of an active CRTC
The current HVS muxing code will consider the CRTCs in a given state to
setup their muxing in the HVS, and disable the other CRTCs muxes.

However, it's valid to only update a single CRTC with a state, and in this
situation we would mux out a CRTC that was enabled but left untouched by
the new state.

Fix this by setting a flag on the CRTC state when the muxing has been
changed, and only change the muxing configuration when that flag is there.

drm/vc4: kms: Store the unassigned channel list in the state
If a CRTC is enabled but not active, and that we're then doing a page
flip on another CRTC, drm_atomic_get_crtc_state will bring the first
CRTC state into the global state, and will make us wait for its vblank
as well, even though that might never occur.

Instead of creating the list of the free channels each time atomic_check
is called, and calling drm_atomic_get_crtc_state to retrieve the
allocated channels, let's create a private state object in the main
atomic state, and use it to store the available channels.

Since vc4 has a semaphore (with a value of 1, so a lock) in its commit
implementation to serialize all the commits, even the nonblocking ones, we
are free from the use-after-free race if two subsequent commits are not ran
in their submission order.

49a3f51dfe drm/gem: Use struct dma_buf_map in GEM vmap ops and convert GEM backends
This patch replaces the vmap/vunmap's use of raw pointers in GEM object
functions with instances of struct dma_buf_map. GEM backends are
converted as well. For most of them, this simply changes the returned type.

TTM-based drivers now return information about the location of the memory,
either system or I/O memory. GEM VRAM helpers and qxl now use ttm_bo_vmap()
et al. Amdgpu, nouveau and radeon use drm_gem_ttm_vmap() et al instead of
implementing their own vmap callbacks.

	* init QXL cursor to mapped BO buffer (kernel test robot)
v5:
	* update vkms after switch to shmem
v4:
	* use ttm_bo_vmap(), drm_gem_ttm_vmap(), et al. (Daniel, Christian)

drm/atomic: Pass the full state to CRTC atomic begin and flush
The current atomic helpers have either their object state being passed as
an argument or the full atomic state.

The former is the pattern that was done at first, before switching to the
latter for new hooks or when it was needed.

Let's start convert all the remaining helpers to provide a consistent
interface, starting with the CRTC's atomic_begin and atomic_flush.

The conversion was done using the coccinelle script below, built tested on
all the drivers and actually tested on vc4.

drm/vc4: Rework the structure conversion functions
Most of the helpers to retrieve vc4 structures from the DRM base structures
rely on the fact that the first member of the vc4 structure is the DRM one
and just cast the pointers between them.

However, this is pretty fragile especially since there's no check to make
sure that the DRM structure is indeed at the offset 0 in the structure, so
let's use container_of to make it more robust.

drm/vc4: crtc: Keep the previously assigned HVS FIFO
The HVS FIFOs are currently assigned each time we have an atomic_check
for all the enabled CRTCs.

However, if we are running multiple outputs in parallel and we happen to
disable the first (by index) CRTC, we end up changing the assigned FIFO
of the second CRTC without disabling and reenabling the pixelvalve which
ends up in a stall and eventually a VBLANK timeout.

In order to fix this, we can create a special value for our assigned
channel to mark it as disabled, and if our CRTC already had an assigned
channel in its previous state, we keep on using it.

During the transition from the firmware to the KMS driver, we need to pay
particular attention to how we deal with the pixelvalves that have already
been enabled, otherwise either timeouts or stuck pixels can occur. We'll
thus need to call the function to stop an HVS channel at boot.

drm/vc4: encoder: Add finer-grained encoder callbacks
In the BCM2711, the setup of the HVS, pixelvalve and HDMI controller
requires very precise ordering and timing that the regular atomic callbacks
don't provide. Let's add new callbacks on top of the regular ones to be
able to split the configuration as needed.

drm/vc4: crtc: Move the HVS gamma LUT setup to our init function
Since most of the HVS channel is setup in the init function, let's move the
gamma setup there too. As this makes the HVS mode_set function empty, let's
remove it in the process.
